    Super Duplex 2507 Bar Stock, UNS S32750

    Super Duplex 2507 bar in UNS S32750 (EN 1.4410, X2CrNiMoN25-7-4) covers round, hex, square, flat, hollow and forged sections supplied as machining and forging stock. TorqBolt holds 2507 bar in all five common geometries at the Mumbai warehouse, with mill test certificates per EN 10204 Type 3.1 and Type 3.2 third-party-witnessed on request.

    The bar is supplied to ASTM A479 for stainless steel bar, ASTM A276 for shapes, and ASTM A182 grade F53 for forged billet. Sour-service certification per NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3 is available with controlled hardness and ferrite balance.

    Heat Treatment

    Solution annealing at 1040 to 1100 degrees Celsius followed by water quench. There is no precipitation hardening, no aging step. Quench delay or air cooling on heavy sections allows sigma phase to nucleate and cuts Charpy toughness sharply, so heavy forged bar is quenched directly in agitated water.

    Which bar geometry should I order for fasteners?

    What is the difference between hot-rolled and cold-finished 2507 bar?
