    Super Duplex 2507 pipe in UNS S32750 / EN 1.4410 / ASTM A790 is the standard piping grade for high-chloride and sour-service applications where standard 2205 duplex and 6 percent molybdenum austenitics are insufficient.     Seamless vs Welded vs EFW Pipe

    All three pipe types meet ASTM A790 for super duplex 2507. Selection depends on size, service, and project specification.

    • Seamless (extruded or hot-piercing): preferred for NPS 1/2" to 8". No weld seam, no longitudinal HAZ. Required by some end-users for critical sour service.
