These terms and conditions govern the use of duplex2507.com and any commercial relationship arising from enquiries submitted via this site. Content and Technical Reference
Technical reference content on duplex2507.com (chemistry tables, mechanical property data, standards summaries, application guidance) is compiled from published international standards (ASTM, ISO, EN, NORSOK, NACE, API), mill datasheets and TorqBolt's commercial experience. The content is intended as general technical reference for engineers, buyers and project specifiers. It is NOT a substitute for the original published standards, mill datasheets, or qualified metallurgical engineering review for specific project applications.
For project-critical material selection, sour-service compliance assessment, sigma-phase risk evaluation or NACE / NORSOK qualification, always consult the original standards, the mill datasheet and a qualified metallurgical engineer. TorqBolt accepts no liability for material selection or use decisions made solely on the basis of website content.
Quotations and Orders
Quotations issued in response to enquiries are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise on the quotation. Pricing, lead time and stock availability are subject to confirmation at the time of order placement. Orders are accepted only on TorqBolt's standard commercial terms (available on request) or on agreed project-specific terms confirmed in writing.
Material specifications, certification requirements, packing instructions, and delivery destinations must be confirmed in writing at the time of order placement. Subsequent specification changes may incur additional charges and lead time extensions.
Material Specifications and Certification
All material supplied by TorqBolt is despatched with EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill test certificates as standard. Type 3.2 third-party-witnessed certification (DNV, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, TUV, ABS, IRS) is available on request, with order placement at the time of RFQ. Type 3.2 certification adds 2 to 4 weeks to the supply lead time and incurs a witness inspection fee.
PREN, ferrite content, hardness, Charpy toughness and full chemistry are reported on every mill test certificate for super duplex 2507 stock. NORSOK M-630, NACE MR0175 and ISO 15156-3 compliance reporting is included where the order specification calls for it.
Warranty
TorqBolt warrants that material supplied conforms to the specification stated on the order acknowledgment and the mill test certificate at the time of despatch. The warranty is limited to replacement or credit for non-conforming material, and applies for a period of 12 months from the date of despatch from the TorqBolt warehouse. Claims must be raised within 30 days of receipt of material and supported by the relevant mill test certificate, third-party inspection report (where applicable) and documentation of the alleged non-conformance.
TorqBolt accepts no liability for consequential, indirect or special damages arising from the use of supplied material, including but not limited to loss of profit, downtime cost, project delay penalty, or third-party claims.
Delivery and Title
Delivery terms are confirmed on the order acknowledgment, typically Ex-Works Mumbai, FCA Mumbai, FOB JNPT or CIF destination port as agreed. Title to the material passes on full payment per the agreed payment terms. Risk passes per the Incoterms 2020 reference on the order acknowledgment. TorqBolt does not insure shipments unless specifically requested and quoted in the commercial offer.
Payment Terms
Standard payment terms are 100 percent advance for first-time orders, 30 percent advance and 70 percent against shipping documents for established customers, or as separately agreed in writing. Currency is Indian Rupee (INR) for domestic orders and USD or EUR for export orders. Bank charges and currency conversion fees are to the customer's account.
Late payment attracts interest at 18 percent per annum or the maximum rate permitted under Indian law, whichever is lower. TorqBolt reserves the right to suspend further deliveries until overdue invoices are settled.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These terms and conditions and any commercial transactions arising from this site are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra (Bombay High Court). For export transactions, where Incoterms 2020 are referenced, those terms govern the commercial relationship to the extent specified in the order acknowledgment.
Force Majeure
TorqBolt is not liable for delay or failure to perform any obligation due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, government action, mill production stoppage, port closure, transport strike, or shortage of mill stock. In such cases, the affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and the parties will discuss commercially reasonable workarounds.
